Location

Villa Massaciuccoli is perfectly located in the countryside of Lucca, exactly in the middle, and only a few minutes away from both the City center of Lucca and the splendid beaches of Viareggio. The estate is also located on top of a hill overlooking the spectacular and touristic Lake Massaciuccoli.

Lucca also known as ‘the city of one hundred churches’, is very rich in Italian history as it is here where Florentine noble families spent their summers. The city walls that we see today date back to the 17th century and have been restored with 4km of parkland, which makes for a lovely place to walk, cycle or have a picnic.  Presently, Lucca is an attractive location to reside because the city is well connected to local motorways and airports and is found in close proximity to the Tuscan Coast, Versilia and Florence. The city also offers many activities, events and wonderful restaurants.
