Organic Estate is an interesting and biodynamically certified estate, found in the countryside of Arezzo, between Arezzo and Cortona, surrounded by Vineyards, Olive Groves and Rolling Green Hills.
The estate produces Biodynamic Wines and IGP Olive Oils. Beyond this, there is a facility for accommodating agritourism with 6 apartments and a restaurant that is part of an internationally recognised BIO circuit. As well as being an interesting property and having niche wine production, Organic Estate is above all an eco-friendly and environmental lifestyle, a life change or a consolidation for those who already live respecting nature and biodynamics.
The structure was built in the 19th century, and has been subject to various restorations over the years.
The total surface of the living areas amounts to over 1000m2. There is a main villa and two separate buildings used as apartments for the farm.
The main house is 240m2, and three storeys. The heart of the house is the living room with a large fireplace and a rustic wood burner. There’s also a kitchen with a dining area, an office, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The potential tourist reception of the property consists of 6 apartments furnished in a typical Tuscan style, with 9 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms in total. The production was certified as organic in 1994 and from 2004 the production became officially biodynamic. On the farm there are several outbuildings and warehouses dedicated: production, storage, maintenance, agriculture, equipment and of course for restaurants.
Beyond this it’s possible to purchase further farming land, of which 3.2 hectares is vineyard (2 hectares Sangiovese; 1.2 hectares of Incrocio Manzoni) and around 5 extra hectares of active olive grove.
The estate aims to be as independent as possible in terms of energy consumption. A Solar Power System and Solar Panels were installed in 2011 which cover the most part of the energy usage, thanks to its striving efforts to be an eco-friendly estate.
