Organic Estate is a charming estate at a few kilometers of the enchanting town of Cortona. The city is a typical historical Italian town located on a hilltop, where one can enjoy the splendid panoramic views of Lake Trasimeno and the surrounding valley.

Organic Estate is a lovely estate located in the Arezzo countryside, surrounded by green hills, vineyards, and olive groves. Located a few kilometers away from the town of Castiglion Fiorentino and less than 10 km from the vibrant and lively Etruscan town of Cortona. The estate is currently a producer of Biodynamic wine and olive oil, besides a receptive structure with 6 guest apartments and a restaurant. Its location is very appealing to guests as it is the perfect starting point for day trips in beautiful places nearby like Pienza, Montepulciano, Siena, Arezzo, Cortona, and Assisi.
The property was originally built at the end of the 19th century and it has undergone several restorations over the years, the most recent were in 2011.
The total surface of the liveable area amounts to more than 1,000 m2 – 11,000 ft2. It consists of the main villa and two separate buildings for the apartments used as an agriturismo.
The graceful main villa is 240 m2 – 2,600 ft2 divided into 3 floors. The focal point of the villa is the living room with a large fireplace and a rustic wood-burning stove. There is also a big kitchen with a dining area, an office area, 4 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms.

The property includes almost 16 ha – 40 ac of land; 9.6 ha – 25 ac of which dedicated to very productive vineyards (4.6 ha), and olive groves (5 ha). The wine production amounts to around 21,000 bottles a year and the olive groves produce around 1,500 liters of Tuscan IGP olive oil a year. The production has been certified as Organic since 1994, and since 2004 the production is officially Biodynamic. There are various annexes and sheds present on the property which are dedicated to the agricultural part of the estate: for production, storage, maintenance, farming equipment, and of course the restaurant and tasting rooms for the sale of the products.
The estate tries to be as independent as possible in terms of its energy use. A photovoltaic system and solar panels were installed in 2011, which cover most of its energy use. Due to its efforts in organic farming, energy use etc. it has been admitted into the association of BIO hotels a few years ago.
